(somehow there's something overriding me) I found that my settings for Windows updates was changed to download and install automatically. I've completed system restore back as far as with no success. Well, I'm at school again today () and the Ethernet port is not working. I went in to my Windows update setting and set everything to download but NOT INSTALL until I approved them. Last week () I was able to finally do a system restore to Novemand my Ethernet began working again. I rarely use my Ethernet port at home (always on wireless) but when at school I use it to enable my printing documents.Īpparently (during the week of November 11, 2014) there was a Windows update that has made the Ethernet port non functioning.
